After completing your song from poetry you will have 2 final project songs remaining for this term. The presentation of these will make up your final exam grade, along with a test on all key terms and concepts covered this semester.

Song Requirement Instructions

1. Look back at all the projects that we have done this semester.   These include:

• Blues Song
• Diatonic Music
• 12 Tone music
• Song from poetry

2. Consider the layout of your CD - which tracks to use, track order and artistic layout with liner notes     

3. Choose two (2) final projects from the following list:

• Rave/ Techno/ Dance Music
• Popular style: Reggae, Alternative, Rock, Punk, Funk, Ballad, etc. 
• Broadcast music - Theme song for a tv show, movie or commercial
• Political or Public Service theme
• Song created using AHS recorded sound samples - from our archived guest and concert recordings
• Childrens Music - Lullabye, playful song, learning song (ala "Schoolhouse rock")
• Movie scene music/Music video 
• Music Concrete: Soundscape of effects / Sound collage /Experimental electronic music
