Instructions for Presentation of Final Projects
- Each student will submit a minimum of four songs for their final review of projects.
- A brief descriptive essay is also required consisting of two well written paragraphs per song, using terminology learned and concepts developed in class.
- Lastly, a Cd cover design and track list will complete the requirements for the final Cd presentation. Consider the sequence of your track list and how this order can contribute to the listener's experience. The cover design should reflect the musical theme(s) and style(s) of your presentation.
1. Create a folder on your C:/ drive, and title the folder "Final Projects Cd" with your name.
***Make sure that you are NOT saving these in "My Documents"
2. For each song: Copy the entire project bundle - include both the cakewalk file and audio folder - into the new folder.
3. Open each project from within Cakewalk, to confirm a successful copy.
4. Export each song as .WAV file - prior to exporting, click on Edit - Select -None: this step helps ensure your export will work correctly.
***Be sure to select this new folder as the exported file location
5. Include cover art formatted to fit CD case (4.5 x 4.5 square), along with a track list and descriptive essay text file.
6. Write the location of your Final Portfolio on the back of your final exam.
