Choosing ten songs is a terrifically difficult thing to do, especially for someone who's music taste changes as much as mine does. A song may move me one day, but have no effect on me the next. The music I listen to loosely revolves around events in my life, lives of my friends, and lives of people I hear stories about. Beside that, music that has a steady rhythm and mechanical perfection is the background music to my life, and a rhythm is always forming in my head. I will try to add to this list as time goes on, but it is viable to change, and fall out of accuracy in mere moments. A small inspiration may change absolutely everything.
In no order, I begin.
1. Eurythmics- Sweet Dreams.
It's full of synth, rhythm, and has been an ear-worming song I could listen to over, and over, and over....
2.Superchick- Beauty from Pain.
Kind of a sad song, but beautiful. Recently found it... It has the kind of emotional weight that can mash you flat if the wrong kind of things happened to you or to the people you know.
3. Gorillaz- Feel Good, Inc.
Kind of a fun song, and one I grew up with. The band is contemporary to say the least, represented by animated characters. Sort of electronic, with a feel good attitude to it- pun somewhat intended.
4. Mayday Parade- Miserable at Best.
This is a bit of a sad song as well, but also with emotional weight. It is connected to my past, my friends, and my first step (or stumble, trip, and fall) into the world of relationships. So confusing a place.
5. Flobots- Handlebars.
"I can ride my bike, with no handlebars.." I adore this song, and the meaning of it. There are choices you can make in life, and what you do can change the world, so watch yourself, and don't let industry control you.
6. Switchfoot- This is your life.
This song makes me look at the world, and see what I'm doing in life. It snapped me back from not knowing what I was doing in life, and not paying attention to where I was going. After I heard it, I learned to live for today.
7. Pink Martini- Kikuchiyo to Mohshimasu
This is a really haunting song, but it is really beautiful. It's a love song in Japanese, and uses Japaneese instruments.
8.
9.
10.
All of these songs are on youtube, if anyone has intrest in looking them up.

OHMAHGAWD. You like Sweet Dreams too. I first heard that song five years ago. I didn't know the name, and I had been trying to find it out, and then Nevermind played it, and I was like EPIPHANY.
