Intro Class -What are some of your favorite lyrics that you can remember. What is it about them that holds significant meaning or attraction for you? How does the song melody enhance the meaning of the lyrics - use our musical vocabulary terms to the best of your ability (ELL Translations)

Advanced Class - Each of you will be required to write music that incorporates live musicians in the January concert, and at least one project in term 2 will include recording live strings, woodwinds and brass, so consider starting that project early and working through its development in stages.  Decide on what type of project you would like to do to start tackling this challenge between now and the end of term 1. Write at least 1 page in your journal that gives a clear picture of your ideas.
