To my mother, I am Francis Raboy. To my peers, I am simply nicknamed Frankie. Complicated, I know. For your own sake, you should know I talk...a lot. So much so, people become concerned when I don't say anything. Have no worries, I am just relaxing, and trying to think of nothing. Within that nothingness, my subconscious brings up organic ideas that help me write music.
My instrument of choice would have to be the piano/keyboards. I have spent more hours playing it than any instrument on this planet. My skill is quite novice, but it's a process and I don't expect to be a sensation overnight. Therefore I wish to become progressively adroit in my playing skills and song writing abilities. On top of that, I plan to enhance my technical capacity in my music productions, aiming to reach a high quality of sound, that will get listeners to understand my personal musical artistry.
My musical taste spans all genres. I relish all music: calypso music of the Caribbeans, to jazz, blues, classical, EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Alternative-Rock, Classic-Rock, Heavy Metal, and obviously everything else that would fall under the category of MUSIC. I appreciate all music, but at certain periods I gravitate towards more specific genres than others. As of late, I have been listening to a collection of Alternative Rock. Ever since I saw Kings of Leon this summer on their Mechanical Bull tour in Mansfield, MA I could not get enough of Alternative Rock. I had always like Alternative before the concert, but going to a show really vamped my appreciation of the genre, which in turn sent me on quite a rabbit hole of music.
My Top 3 Alt-Rock Songs (as of late)
- Black Keys - Fever
- Kings of Leon - Supersoaker
- Artic Monkeys - Do You Wanna Know?
Even though I am in a state lauding Alt-Rock, I must thank my roots in Dance music. My introduction to Dance music and electronic music gave me the drive to pursue music technology. It has been a passion of mine to learn more about the genre and manifest my own tracks. My interest in Djing only pushed me more to delve into the world of EDM.
The 3 Songs that Got Me into EDM
- Deadmau5 - Ghost N' Stuff
- Tiesto vs Diplo - C'mon
- Afrojack - Take Over Control

Adroit indeed. You should totally link some of your own music here.

The black keys song was pretty sweet. Can definitely hear some similarities in that track and your music.
